In a huge boost for learners, businesses and communities in Cornwall and Devon, Cornwall College Group (CCG) is officially ‘Outstanding’.
Following a week-long inspection by Ofsted, a glowing report praised CCG on its commitment to “exceptional learning opportunities”, “highly effective partnerships to meet the local training needs” and learners who are “highly motivated to learn in aspirational environments”.
An incredible moment for learners and staff across Devon and Cornwall! Achieving Ofsted Outstanding is a brilliant achievement and a true reflection of the culture which learners and dedicated staff create across our multiple campuses each and every day. It’s a privilege to be a Governor.
Super chuffed for Rob Bosworth, Luke Bazeley and everyone at the Cornwall College Group who has achieved OUTSTANDING with Ofsted. The College’s work with the UK’s first ever, award winning, manufacturing skills academy (with us), is exceptional and one small example of the delivery they are achieving for multi generations.

I am extremely proud to work with Falmouth Marine School on the Professional Superyacht Engineer FdSc Programme – where I am privileged to see the expertise, dedication and selfless commitment to delivering life changing education, on a daily basis.

HUGE congratulations to Cornwall College for the Outstanding OFSTED rating. Cornwall College plays an absolutely pivotal role, supported by our local communities and respected by our local businesses and public sector organisations.
A huge congratulations to Duchy College for achieving their ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating today. I was extremely impressed during my visit last week, and truly cannot sing their praises enough. The pupils were all very enthusiastic about the range of vocational courses they study, and it was clear that the staff too are passionate about what they teach.

Truly deserved, congratulations. The college I attended to help me prepare to move onto university.
I went to the Camborne campus for a couple of years and loved it, helped me socialise better and be more focused. I dropped out of school when I was 13, if only secondary schools were more like colleges around the country, smaller classes and more individuality. Congrats to the whole Cornwall College team!
Lovely! Nice to get a good rating for our colleges in Cornwall, and very nice to know it got the best of the best after all it deserves it! For me that goes to the St Austell campus it’s a privilege and a joy to travel from Saltash daily to come and learn new skills and make new friends in such a place with a bunch of lovely helpful teachers and LSP that’s provided for all! Keep up the good work as a college group.
This isn’t a surprise. Both of my boys attend and I cannot be more impressed with the teaching and motivation of the staff. They have turned my boys into young men. Thank you, to the Military and Protective Services team, you are all amazing and should be so proud of this achievement. Thank you.
I’m really impressed that Cornwall College is now Ofsted Outstanding, I’m not surprised because everything about this college is Outstanding. From teachers, to the amazing employer connections, they are the reason I’m on an exciting career path to become a plumber. Before coming to Cornwall College, I was doing A Levels at a different college but I wasn’t enjoying my time there. After I suffered from a bad knee and elbow injury, which prevented me from joining the forces, I didn’t know what direction I wanted to go in. Thanks to the incredible team at Cornwall College and the fantastic support I received, I managed to secure an apprenticeship with TClarke and kick-start my career.
