Bicton College Blossoms at BFA Awards

In a display of outstanding skill and creativity, Bicton College has been named “Floristry Training Provider of the Year” at the prestigious British Florist Association (BFA) Awards 2024.

In addition to this win, Denise Cross, study programme manager for Floristry and Horticulture at Bicton College, who came in 3rd place for the “Floristry Tutor of the Year”  BFA Industry Awards.

The national awards ceremony recognised Bicton College for its exceptional contribution to floristry education and delivering high-quality training that equips students with the expertise, innovation and passion required to succeed in the rapidly evolving floristry sector.

Denise expressed gratitude for her nomination: “It’s a privilege to work with such talented students and a fantastic team at Bicton College.”

“Our goal is always to inspire, educate and support our learners to achieve their full potential in this beautiful and dynamic industry. I’m honoured and proud to represent my team,” Denise continued.

For Head of Bicton College, Darren Evans, this award shines light on the dedicated staff, he said: “We continually strive to provide the best possible opportunities for our learners, and this achievement reinforces our reputation as one of the leading providers of floristry education.”
