Initial Clinical Supervisor Training Adult

Course information

For Registered Veterinary Nurses or Veterinary Surgeons with at least 12 months post qualification experience who wish to commence the coaching of students within training practices.

Certification will be provided once potential clinical supervisors have attended and their assessment proficiency is observed at a Practical Workshop Day. Clinical supervisors can commence coaching of students in practice after the Initial Training Day if sufficiently supported and mentored in practice.

What You Will Learn

How to mentor and coach students undertaking the Vetskills Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.

How to use the Smart Assessor training log to give feedback on student performance in practice.

RCVS registered MRCVS or RVN
12 Months practice experience
