Promoting Wellbeing Course This course will help provide some useful tips and activities you can do from home to promote wellbeing.

This is particularly important as we cope with the current circumstances and the stress of daily life.

There is strong evidence that indicates that feeling close to, and valued by, other people is a fundamental human need and one that contributes to functioning well in the world.

It’s clear that social relationships are critical for promoting wellbeing and for acting as a buffer against mental ill health for people of all ages. We will touch on factors such as staying active and being mindful to promote positive wellbeing to help you cope in difficult situations.

We will cover a range of useful tips and techniques you can take away and do at home including

- Guided nature walks
- Basic Art techniques for relaxation
- The benefits of Yoga and meditation
- Basic horticulture for home gardeners

You will need to bring:

- Sensible shoes (walking shoes/boots)
- Coat
