Course information
This course will be run over 4 days (1 day a week for 4 weeks) and learners will need to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their understanding of the topics covered. There will be both written and practical elements, and learners may be required to complete some work at home. This course would be suitable for pet owners, as well as those that work within the canine industry and could be funded depending on personal circumstances.
• Introduction to Canine Behaviour and Training
Learners will understand normal canine behaviour and be able to explain how to prevent welfare and behaviour issues, through daily routines and appropriate force free training.
• Introduction to Canine Health
Learners will have an understanding of how to provide for a dogs basic needs to help prevent common health problems.
