How To Use A Chainsaw

This course is an introduction to using a chainsaw and health and safety requirements.

This course is aimed at domestic users who will be trained in health and safety, PPE requirements, chainsaw safety checks and basic cross cutting at ground level. You will be taught by our trainer who delivers our NPTC CS30 courses.

The course isn’t accredited so cannot be used for paid or voluntary work. If you are looking for a business accredited qualification, please see our NPTC Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting course page.

Please note that full payment for this course must be made at least 2 weeks before the course takes place. This is a 1 day course which is aimed at domestic users with no formal qualification at the end of the course.
